AMFA Supports Wessex Heartbeat
September 7 saw the return of the New Forest Rotary Club Charity Golf Day. Along with other local businesses, AMFA took a four-strong team to the fiercely contested event at Bramshaw Golf Club. Represented by Andy Wood, Gordon Craig, Bruce McKendrick and Matt Wood, the AMFA Team managed to claim victory by the slimmest of margins with a score of 88 for the round.
The event was a great success, and the club were delighted to announce that over £5,000 was raised for this year’s charity partner, Wessex Heartbeat. Working with the Wessex Cardiac Unit at Southampton General Hospital, the charity provides specialist equipment, services and facilities for patients receiving treatment for cardiovascular diseases.
