Director
I joined Asset Management Financial Advisers Ltd in 1998 as an Independent Financial Adviser, taking over from a previous “Pension Specialist” and helping to continue advising clients with specific pension needs. Prior to this, I spent 13 years with The Scottish Life Assurance Company, initially in Pension Administration in Edinburgh, then as Head of the Pensions Admin team in our Croydon branch before moving to Southampton in 1991 to join the Scottish Life Southampton branch sales team. Just two years after joining Asset Management, in 2001, I was invited to become a Director and Shareholder—something I’m proud of, as it reflects my long-standing commitment to the firm and its clients.
Since then, I have been a steady presence at the heart of the business, helping guide its growth and governance. I have a down-to-earth approach and bring a depth of my 40+ years of financial services experience to every conversation.
I offer advice across a broad range of financial planning areas, with a particular focus on investments and retirement planning—both before and after retirement, giving clients peace of mind when making important decisions about their financial future and take pride in building long-term relationships based on trust, straightforward advice and detailed cashflow planning.
Outside of work, I enjoy golf, painting, travelling and socialising with friends and family. My wife and I also have a caravan on the Isle of Wight where we often visit along with our dog Molly.
